The Mansion on Delaware

Exterior:

At the turn of the century, Buffalo, New York, was considered one of the most affluent cities in the United States. To its credit, it was selected as the host city of the Pan American Games in 1901, is the birth place of two Presidents, and its proximity to Niagra Falls guaranteed its electrical advantage.

Abandoned for the last twenty years, the mansion suffered from neglect. It was purchased in 1998, by a local developer, who envisioned restoring the property and converting it into a boutique hotel. The project took four years of planning before opening in the spring of 2001.
